LeKeith Taylor is the Chief Marketing and Brand Officer for The Gathering Spot, a members-only club founded in Atlanta, GA in 2016.  As a brand executive, LeKeith’s multi-disciplinary expertise as a marketer, strategist and creative has helped build The Gathering Spot into one of the hottest start-ups in the country in just 2 years of operation, with plans to expand the concept nationally beginning 2018 in Washington, DC. 

Prior to moving to Atlanta in 2014, LeKeith cut his chops in New York City working in the corporate and agency worlds with blue-chip brands such as Nike, Converse, Sprite, Beats by Dre, MetLife, American Express and Land Rover to name a few.  

LeKeith's "swiss-army knife skills" and innate curiosity in consumer lifestyle spaces helps him figure out the intersection of consumer, culture, brand and strategy to bring ideas to life and drive brand value. 

Desiring a more entrepreneurial path, LeKeith left the agency and corporate worlds to leverage his skills and relationships to build “forward thinking ideas and intellectual properties”, which led him to his involvement with The Gathering Spot.

Born at Mercy Hospital on the South Side of Chicago.

I only had girl names picked out, but when I woke up I realized I had a boy so I had to figure out a name. Thankfully LeKeith’s grandmother a name in mind.

Watched Michael Jordan for the first time. 

From that point on, I was in love with basketball. Little did I know this would be my first introduction to Nike my create my affinity for the brand.  




Won a city-wide drawing contest.  

How? I begged my mom for Jordan's but she couldn't afford them. So I started drawing them on random pieces of paper. I did this for the next 3 years and got pretty good at drawing.




Neither of us was looking for love.
