BRAND: NIKE Sportswear

LOCALE: London, England UK

In an effort to create a memorable consumer experience and leverage the passion of England's football fans around the 2010 World Cup, Nike Sportswear conceptualized an innovative pop-up retail and entertainment platform, curated in one of the UK's most culturally ubiquitous gathering spots - the local pub.

The NIKE Polo Pub at The Mortimer Arms on Tottenham Court Road in London, England was a one-of-a-kind World Cup viewing experience that ran the entire duration of the world cup - giving England football fans a venue to grab a pint with their mates, watch their favorite match-ups, enjoy live music from London’s hottest DJs and customize their very own Nike GS Polo to commemorate the occasion. Featuring an array of custom badges from teams such as England, USA, Brazil, Australia, and Netherlands, as well as a slew of other customization options, pub patrons were able to design their one of a kind polo, ready for them by the time the match is over.
